When it first happened I was compassionate...but when I found out the dude died 12 years ago, I'm all like get over it. Yeah it may be sad, but her mom's been porking another dude for the last 9 years...she's not all boo hooing when she sees a Klondike bar and says "those were his favorite...wahhhhh...wahhhh"

How do you "help" someone move on emotionally after 12 f'ing years?

Sounds like you need to make a return and go back to the marketplace for something new.

You are equating a daughter losing their dad to a spouse losing their husband? You're a moron

Grief is nature's most powerful aphrodisiac. Congrats on the sex.

Grab her firmly by the wrist and tell her "I'll give you something to cry about"

Is this the guy that claimed to have a stay at home wife and if you have two working parents, you are immoral or some shite?

How often does this happen? Weekly, monthly?

Move with her to Texas.

That is the solution to everything, apparently.

My Dad is dead. I still get extremely emotional from time to time. You should be kicked in the fricking teeth for even wanting her to move on. Pray you have a daughter that loved you that much you inconsiderate prick. And I mean that in the nicest way possible.

My best friend died over a decade ago and there are times I just break down crying. But I'm usually alone. I don't think I'd let that out with people around.
