I'm glad I don't have to worry about those price differences.

Never go cheap on toilet paper
This man gets it. My ex-wife once bought a year's supply of some generic one ply rough arse toilet paper. She and her mom found this sale somewhere that ended up being like 2 bucks for a 12 pack and the woman came home with ten or fifteen 12 packs. I burned it all in a bonfire. Life's too short to sleep on a bad mattress or wipe your arse with sandpaper.

I have an Amazon dash button in my cabinet now so that I'm never out of pillowy lotion infused softness.

"Store brand" products are often made by the same companies making the "higher quality" products. They're exactly the same, but a lower price. Grocery stores get a higher margin on the "store brand" products.

9/10 I'll buy the "store brand" because it's cheaper and the same shite as the more expensive stuff.

Walmart's generic poptarts are better than the real thing and a whole lot cheaper.

Salvadoran day laborers cost less than Mexicans and do better work.

Big drop off when you get to Guatemalans, though, they're too short to reach anything.

Great Value paper plates & bowls vs Dixie - no difference
Same goes for sugar, coffee creamer, mustard, spices

Shurfine (AG stores) blueberry waffles are way better than Eggo

I buy brand name TP, mayo & ketchup

The bag cereal knockoffs of Cap'n Crunch Berries and Cinnamon Toast Crunch from Dollar General are better than the name brand boxes.

I bought some generic toilet bowl cleaner and had to throw it away after one use. It was basically blue water compared to the brand name generic gel cleaner.

Boxed pasta, I always go store brand. Butter, store brand. Rice and sugar are a little different because quality controls aren't as stringent even though they are "made" in the same processing facility. Most people don't care if 10 grains of white rice out of 10,000 are brown or black.
