I think libs were really expecting a meltdown on this board about this. I'm not surprised by the response. Most people support folks being able to live their lives in peace and being happy. This decision allows that. You'll get a few tards saying well now let legalize bestiality...har, har, har......but those will be few and far between.

How do you determine what truth is?
If truth is determined on "how you feel", then is the child molester wrong for carrying out his desires because that is the way he feels?
If scripture had nothing to do with God, then would you still view the Bible as an unreliable form of truth?

That's actually very true.
Despite the fundamental idea in out country that Church and State should remain entirely separate, the Church has influenced thousands of laws, both state and federal, to be aligned with their views over the last 300 years.
Crazily, most of them since WWII. The most "mainstream" references to God in our country especially.
It wasn't until Eisenhower in 1956 that "In God We Trust" was even put on our currency. It wasn't until 1954 that "Under God" was added to the Pledge of Allegiance.
