Gasoline delivery failed us

STOP POINTING AT ME IDIOTS. THIS THEAD IS ABOUT THE PEOPLE STRANDED AT THE PUMPS, NOT ME.
I DO NOT NEED GAS.
It’s 2pm on Sunday, earlier I was just driving around town. Still a nice day in Baton Rouge, not a drop of rain.
The gas stations are empty. Zero gas, yet each has cars parked at the pump. I realized that these people are stranded and left their cars as they wait for fuel to be delivered. They’re either inside the station or at a hotel. Obviously the tankers stopped delivering for safety. Meanwhile my neighbors are all walking their dogs and talking to each other outside.
Absolute failure. They should have at least been delivering yesterday.
Meanwhile, everyone from other states are mocking the people who didn’t evacuate. There is no gasoline. Evacuees are stuck in Baton Rouge because their car ran out of gas as they left.

Not sure where you live, but in BR they were delivering yesterday and this morning.
Stations have been getting multiple deliveries per day and running out.

I didn’t want to get gas yesterday because evacuees needed it. We are staying in Baton Rouge and riding it out.
Now that everyone has evacuated, I wanted to go fill up.

I don’t need gas, I’m staying here. We are not going anywhere. I’m talking about the stranded motorist who left their cars at the gas stations because they’re empty.
