I heard Garrett Graves was hosting a town hall meeting in Central Last night (2-23-17). Does anyone have any info on it? Did he give any information about flood recover for the area? I don't see anything in the Advocate about it.

Thanks T, I wonder if anyone brought up the Bill that Trump Signed to allow coal mining to dump waste into streams. West Virgina and Kentucky have the highest number of coal mines in the country and they also reside in the Mississippi River watershed. That means that its our water that being polluted.
The coal industry is not coming back because of machines have taken most of their jobs, not government regulations and its was more expensive and inefficient than natural gas. We dont have coal mines in Louisiana. I wish Graves had opposed this bill before it passed in the House.

You aren't very well informed, Trump rescinded an Obama ex order.

Graves didn't vote on a bill, nor did Trump sign one. They just rescinded a made up rule that Obama wanted to shove down coal's throat.
