Modern music truly is garbage for the most part
The majority of folks who stay listening to Top 40 are about as big of a "music fan" as a, let's just say for example, a mid-30s woman who owns a lot of Saints gear and fleur de lis garb but has only watched maybe a collective couple of hours of an actual Saints football per season.
ETA: not to say you can't be a really big music enthusiast and also like these songs, I'm just saying for the folks who will ONLY listen to top 40 stuff.

the internet has really devolved.
i haven't had facebook in over a decade and my wife was doing something on her phone the other day and little fricking hearts and sparkles started flying all over and making little sounds.
i said WTF is that and she said uhhh, its just facebook showing that someone liked something i posted.
is this really what grown people use on a daily basis?
