So many good kids in that fight.

I'm sure some parent will come forward and say the security guards had no reason to put his hands on their kid. Their child is a good kid and doesn't do things like that

Nailed it. That's Lake Area New Tech Early College High School.

I might recognize a few faces in that video.

This dude has filmed like 20 fights that he's seen around New Orleans.. all in portrait mode.

He even has a video of little toddlers fighting. LINK

It's culturally normative for these kids to video the events and then share them with their entire social media address book. Facebook (not so much now), Instagram, Kik, all of that. I highly doubt this one individual witnessed all of that first hand.

Many kids in these New Orleans charter schools are bused in from all over the city. Many kids simply get dropped at a bus stop that might be a mile or more away from their actual place of residence. Right now, when the days are short, that means they are walking home in rough areas of town and the sun is setting. You try telling that proud mother her child can't have a cell phone. It's a safety issue. Kids are kids, and the best you can do is try to manage the issue in the classroom.

I despise it. It's the source of so much headache.

It's painful. I worked at a NOLA charter school in college and the 1st graders I worked with were getting bussed from the east at 5-6 AM every morning to go to school uptown.

Broke my heart, especially when the kids (shocker) didn't perform well and got bussed to another school in the MIDDLE OF THE YEAR

This thread is also filled with so much racism.

These guys are acting like fights never happens at their schools growing up. You'd be surprised at how many fights I saw at my private school(s) growing up

Only on TD.com where grown men will attack children for doing dumb childish things.

I think I even say a thug piece of shite thrown at the kids.

And they wonder why we say the criminalization of black males starts early.

These fricks don't even see our kids as innocent children.

Despicable.
