G8 GT DOD delete Kit/Cam help

Idk how well car post go on here so sorry if its an inconvenience.
I recently bought a G8 Gt and was enjoying the car, well my luck has landed me into a position where I have to replace all my lifters due to the DOD cam.
I am looking for the best DOD delete Kit and replacement cam. I would like to upgrade the cam while I have the chance but this is my daily driver so I don't want nothing to lower the drive ability of my car. I am way out of my element here and was wondering if anyone here could help me out. Thanks in advance

There are a few companies that make a kit for it so you don't have to waste time finding all the parts. Are you doing the work yourself or having someone else do it? You are also going to have to have the car tuned after the kit is put on.

Our mechanic is a family friend so he will be doing this for me. I knew about the tuning just just looking for some kits to check out right now

If you're gonna upgrade the cam, you might wanna look at upgrade the heads, getting new headers, hi flow or cat delete, as well as a free flowing cat back. Turn your G8 into a sleeper.

Ls1tech.com has a section dedicated to the g8 and has a lot of information on them. There are also g8 specific boards, but I'm not sure that they are still very active. You could probably still find the information though. One of them is gr8888...I forget how many 8s. And either EPS or futral may help you if they know you are going with them for the tune
