Furniture Stores in New Orleans - Need suggestions

Looking for new bedroom furniture, something middle of the road. Don't want some cheap arse rooms to go shite but I don't need some Ethan Allen shite either.
I went to Ashley today, but didn't see anything I really liked. Anyone got any solid suggestions for where to buy furniture?

Drive on over to American Factory Direct in Mandeville. Seriously worth it.

craigslist
Comeaux has the exact same stuff as Hurwitz Mintz, but for much cheaper. Might be a different brand name, but it's the exact same stuff

Also Comeaux's at the end of Veterans near the Orleans Parish line.
They also have a warehouse/clearance center on Euphrosine Street.

I'll put Doerr, Comeaux, and Hurwitz Mintz on the list.

I found Hurwitz-Mintz to be expensive.
At the time I was shopping around for a new recliner for my dad. If I thought the recliners were expensive, I cannot imagine what a bedroom set would cost. I went to the Elmwood stores, LaZBoy, Comeaux and Hurwitz-Mintz.
Comeaux by far was the least expensive furniture store.
