Flying is too cheap. Too many poor people. Add poor people to anything and it makes it worse.

How come every broke dick mother fricker has an attorney on speed dial to protect their “rights”

So many of these with folks so arrogant that they are willing to disrupt a few hundred people even though they know there is zero possibility they are not staying on the plane in any potential

I sat next to a young black woman in the exit row and when we got axed she said, I plead the fifth.
This isn’t a joke, it really happened. I told her not to worry we can handle this. In a rare chance there is an emergency we might have to open the door.

Unless there is some video of whatever happened previously she seemed to recant
You can say yes 5 times but the one time you say no, it's no and final.
That wasn't even what did her in, that was perfectly fine. It was saying that then refusing to simply trade seats with someone who would say yes. If she did that, everything would have gone off without a hitch.
But saying no AND refusing to give up the seat, or in other words her stupidity, is what did her in.

Certain group thinks rules don’t apply to them. They think they can be loud and obnoxious and get their way

She belongs in cuffs with her attitude for sure. But can we talk about the flight attendants needing a verbal yes from everyone in the exit row? This has to be one of the dumbest things ever. not sure why but it has always irked me.

It’s a shame someone can’t be an adult and de-escalate the situation for everyone’s betterment
For generations?

What do you want them to sign a contract? Explain what you want them to do? They can’t have someone in those seats that won’t even give a verbal acknowledgment. Honestly, you should have to be between a certain age and have certain physical abilities.

The proper punishment for this is to be put on the no fly list for any airline for a minimum of 10 years

think a bomb threat or comment is understandably going to be taken much differently than a joke about the exit seat

I knew it was a certain sect of the population before I clicked.
Why is it almost always them?

I’m sure you are. He’ll be right there to sort it all out.

She mentions betty white, so she can't help an old while woman, and I wonder if Betty White isn't code for whitey. Racist count.

Meh...they both causes the issue.
Without the joke she wouldn't have been asked to switch seats and had she switched seats she wouldn't have bee escorted off. It's not really an either / or situation.
Some people just don't realize that they can't verbally bully airlines (and others) like they might a gas station attendant.

You don't think it's important that the flight attendants verify if persons seated in the exit row are capable of hearing and understanding instructions?
Or do you not realize that's the point of requiring a verbal agreement.
