Your electric bill would be $300-$400 a month out here if you kept your house super cold in the summer

Mine rarely gets above $150 here during the summer and I have huge ceilings (like 20 foot cathedral ceilings). "really cold" to me is like 65 though.....and I keep my really warm blanket out year round.

Our bill was around $275 last summer during summer months and we kept our thermostat on 78-79 only. But....the a/c at that house sucked. This one is a brand new unit put in right before we moved so I'm excited about cheaper bills this summer.
It balances out though....you never really have to use your heater in winter months. Our bills during the winter were like $40 then.
