I'm amazed how orderly and calmed they remained.

It's the spirit of Rob Ford demonizing all of Canada.

That was one of my big takeaways too. I bet the heat coming off that was intense.

You'll notice in the OP video and in the rear dash cam video LINK from that same user that some of the plants on the other side of the street where the houses are were already on fire. Scary, scary situation.

Seems strange that the cops didn't have some sort of mask/oxygen. I imagine it was tough to breathe in that.

I haven't really kept up with the fire, but I guess it just really exploded out of nowhere.

They are Canadians. Nice people by and large. People here would have been running each other over to move up two car lengths.

Don't forget that one guy in the beat up Nissan Sentra that changes lanes every time one moves and the other doesn't.

Probably would move faster if the cops weren't in the way.

The beginning reminded me of the cane fires on 90. You know it's bad when you can feel the heat in your vehicle. But when you get about half way through... hell naw.

That's called the morning commute here in Atlanta.

further down the related videos is the 1 of 6 video. The driver (I think it's a woman named Michelle even though she sounds like a dude) calls someone and says to tell them I may not make it in to work today. Meanwhile the nice green park 15 feet out of her car is being engulfed in 20 foot high flames. Ya think? You're driving at a snail's pace through an inferno, I doubt you're going to make it in to be a sandwich artist in an hour.

Saw that. And the guy on the motorcycle.. You could see him trying to shield his face from the heat

Um yeah, and something else also missing from that population.
