So, a couple months ago, a supplier went belly up on me. Now I get a letter from a Law firm asking me to pay an old invoice that they had on their books. Do I have to pay them? What say the OT?

Yea, they'll probably sue you if you don't.

Call the Trustee, but if' you're a debtor, you gotta pay.

If you owe it then they (the Law Firm) will get it.

if they are reorganizing via bankruptcy how does that let you off the hook for something you owe them?

How did the supplier go "belly up" on you if you owe them money? Did you both owe each other for various things?

I was net 30 with them. I didn't do a TON of biz with them.
In addition, it was one of those "Middle of the night" / "Phones don't work this a.m." type thing. Didn't know they were gone till I saw an email from an industry publication. Haven't heard ANYTHING from them for 6 months or so till this letter.

How much is owed if you don't mind me asking?
Posted on 5/15/17 at 4:49 pm to The Mick
My best guess would be around $750

Ask them if they want to settle with you? I mean they are going to have to settle with the people they owe money to correct. Me personally I would tell them to get faked and let them sue me and take it from there.
