Are you having trouble finding a job? Do many companies tell you they aren't hiring at this time? Do you have abundant free time to travel to different areas of your city on the job hunt? (Of course you do - you're unemployed). If this describes you, you're in luck. The answer is conveniently located in your local newspaper's obituary section!

I'd hire him just for his resourcefulness and tenacity

he crosses some of his lowercase t's about 2 or 3 letters past the t, and he uses a lowercase i for "I". he could do manual labor or answer the phone, but he wouldn't be handling any emails or anything.

I can't lie here...I once searched for an obituary where the funeral was held the day of a physics quiz I missed. I then made up a backstory of how I knew the woman, and was able to get a free 100 on the quiz right before the final, which solidified my passing grade. I felt terrible doing it, as I was reserving my seat in fire and brimstone, but I like to think she would've been okay with it. Even in death, she was still helping people. Just like she would help boost morale by providing warm, fresh-baked cookies for us school-children exiting the bus in elementary school that I never rode.

Her death took place in the shadow of new life. She's not really dead if you found a way to remember her.

This is great.

One of my former employers finally hired a guy who would relentlessly come in about every 2-4 weeks looking for a job. Finally one day he said, "whats a brotha gotta do around here to get a job? Do I need to do a dance?" I looked at my boss and he replied, "sure if you want to". The guy then pushed some chairs out of the way and started dancing in the middle of the office. It was pretty damn funny and after about 30 secons asked the guy when he wanted to start. That guy ended up being a damn good employee and stayed there around 5 or so years.

So who knows, maybe the guy actually is a good employee as well.
