I didn't not just spend 30 seconds trying to figure out what FLU stands for.

Makes sense…we have been locked down and wearing masks for the past two years. Now neither is true.

All of the restrictions we had last year (masking, social distancing, and schools mostly virtual) are pretty big mitigation factors for the flu.

Some of the flu’s biggest spreaders are lack of hand washing, being in close proximity of someone who is sick, and schools. This is pretty common sense.

It took cloth masks to kill off a 100yr virus

Flu disappeared everywhere.
Northeast with restrictions.
As well as states like Texas and Dakota's where lots didn't give a frick.

Either it was a natural phenomena. I've read about viral interference? Whereby a virus going around prevents another from doing so. Kind of a competitive inhibition.

But, gimme a break on "mitigation" strategies eliminating flu, but not Rona.

True, but, upvoting this statistic is kind of gruesome. I'll just leave it at that.

Or that people were washing their hands and staying away from other people. That's how my doc explained it. Not everything is a.conspiracy.

Why can’t we buy over-the-counter flu tests like we can buy for Covid, illegal drugs, or pregnancy??

This. I wish people practiced better hygiene, but lazy Americans will still send in their sick as shite kids to school for everyone to catch it.

Btw, if you think COVID is gone, look up Wisconsin, Maine, Michigan covid hospitalization rates right now.
