KA house looks better than it used to, but they need to paint it a different color. That gray makes it look like a prison. Kappa Sig looks like a vacant lot. Sigma Chi looks like a crack house.

If I lived in BR, I would try to get my kids into U High. Damned impressive from the outside.

Didn't they tear it down to build a new one?

When did they paint the KA house gray? It looked awesome in white.

I guess it's vacant since the whole heroin thing. Generally I love LSU's old-school fraternity houses compared to the characterless McMansions taking over other SEC schools. Of course Kappa Sig is continuing the gentrification that Lamda Chi started.

Believe me,it was a forced gentrification. Having somebody pile up your couches, douse them in a gallon of gas and light them on fire at 5am sure felt forced to me. Shout out to SAE for giving me some clothes.

It's white, the best color there is.

If that's white, it's a dingy sort of white. Maybe the hazmat vapors from the chemical plants did it.

I was friends with half the SAE house because one day I brought over a couple dozen golf balls to them as they were driving golf balls down to the F1J1 house.

Don't think you were around when the alumni board/house corporation got BRPD involved to address shenanigans at the house, one of which included using the top of the new house as a driving range.

Said our brother with a lifetime of competitive golfing experience and no shortage of confidence, to the experienced undercover narc agent who was present to put a lid on such activity: I can probably hit a golf ball with greater accuracy than you can shoot your gun.

I bailed after Round One of the civil war, when the "Club Homeboy" faction began to shite in the ice machine and vandalize the rooms and cars of the other 85% of the fraternity. I did view all that sorority drama that followed with alumni from afar with a certain amount of disbelief though. I man, how the hell do you frick up a frat at LSU in the late 80's early 90's. That takes some serious assholery and cluelessness.

So true, considering the social ills that we didn't have AT ALL during that era, such as drug use, date rape, legal entanglements resulting in negative press, etc.

Ours was a modern day Garden of Eden that only we could screw up. Consider those apples eaten.

Word.

It's been there a while, it is bound to get dirty. I know the the Alpha's across the street used to love throwing paint on our house.

Somebody is a little confused. KA house is white, Kappa Sig house torn down last week to rebuild brand new home hence the fence and construction sign and permit. Sigma Chi nice two story white house. Somebody sounds a little jelly.
