Any way to find out how someone died? Coroner report, medical records? Friend with a guy I got his obit this week. Just wonder how he went?

Don't know them, spent 90 days getting clean with him. Just wonder if he finally chased the dragon to far.

Don't be lazy, dig him up and perform your own autopsy.

Go to the wake or funeral and find out then. That's about the only way you will get some answers.

Checks out. Good for you.

I honestly don't know, I had a friend pass away last year from what I'm pretty sure was a OD but the only one I know close to the family I don't think was shooting me straight or was just ignorant. Guy was only 31 and supposedly his brother went to the store to buy cold medicine to help with his fever and came back and found him dead. There was nothing in the paper, I couldn't find out another way. Guy was a known regular drug user.

Cause of death should be listed on the death certificate and the next of kin should have this.

If you are asking if it's public record, no it is not.

You can look up how much he paid in property taxes last year, though.
