I don't pay too much attention to rugby, but I've been a fan of the Haka that the All Blacks from New Zealand do.

This might top it. These guys are frigging amazing;

Fiji people are very wholesome and awesome.

When I went there we took an hour and a half boat ride to get to another island and the ride was more fun than the excursion. The crew played guitar and sang and drank with us. They also asked us if it would be rude if they fished while taking us to our destination. They caught and shared some fish with us. One of the best experiences I had there or on any vacation. I would move there tomorrow if I could.

Also, they said that they have a lot of Asians that visit due to proximity and that they have to save a ton of them from drowning every day when snorkeling and that they don't tip well even after saving their life.

Fiji's Rugby culture is second to none.

It's their national sport. Now get this. There are only about 1 million people in Fiji.
They are ranked in top #20 in 15s rugby which is impressive, but it's insane how good they are in 7s rugby.

7 vs 7 Rugby is a different beast all together. It's basically your country's fastest strongest 7 individuals vs another country's fastest strongest 7 individuals. There's not much scrum, lineout, rucking, mauling going on.
The prototypical stud 7's player will be akin to a lean fast Linebacker in Football.

This is where Fiji's insane genetics come in. If you've ever played against them in rugby it's not really fair how they are built. They are incredibly dense, strong, AND fast. Their lower body strength is ridiculous.
That's why they can compete with anyone in the world in 7s rugby, where a broken/missed tackle often results in a try.

It's also why the US Mens Rugby 7s team is much better than our 15s team. We find retired track guys who didn't make it in the NFL. Then teach them how to run with a rugby ball. Seriously.

Jona Lomu (RIP) was the freak athlete that kind of got me into rugby.

I wonder why the NFL doesn't go after some of these guys. They seem tailor made for LB's, full backs, and running backs.

Awesome stats about Fiji's players.

Definitely need to watch more rugby. Anytime I happen to see it on tv, I'll watch it.

Not going to lie, there is something about men singing like men that is inspiring. Watching that reminded me of this Chicago blackhawks singer absolutely belting the national anthem.

Watch this 7's World Cup Final of Fiji vs NZ. It's frickin nuts. Fiji skull fricks New Zealand. Now remember Fiji has
1mm people and NZ has 5mm. Fiji has 80k rugby players while New Zealand has 140k rugby players.

Hands down my favorite singer of the National Anthem.

The one he did before the Bears/Packers playoff game was an all timer.

They make up songs and rhymes and chants to sing and no one thinks it’s weird!

We do. Fiji is part of Polynesia. Just like Samoans are. That's the key factor.
There are a shite TON of Polynesians in D1 college football and plenty on NFL teams.
How does Tiny Samoa dominate the NFL
