I liked all the Serendipity books when I was a kid, but this one is my favorite today because it shows how much times have changed:

Catundra by Stephen Cosgrove

It's the story of a very fat cat who is made fun of and bullied by all the other animals. A mole befriends her and encourages her to make some healthy changes to her lifestyle. Catundra follows his advice, loses weight, becomes beautiful, and acquires some self-respect.

That book would NEVER be printed today.
