Mexican coke is badass. They use real cane sugar to make it. Not that high fructose corn syrup or that aspertane BS

Not true anymore, they are using HFCS in Mexican coke now. It was like a 50/50 mix a few years ago and were looking at adding more.

And, while I know you can still get them all over New Orleans, especially around Easter, I never see them anywhere else --

Shasta is sold at Dollar Tree and at some Big Lots if you have one where you live.

I'm sure they still have them but I used to be all about those bottle caps

Where do you people live that you can't find Spree, Blow Pops, or Pop Rocks? I see Spree in every gas station I've ever gone in. Blow Pops can be bought by the bag at pretty much any grocery store or national pharmacy chain.

There's a store called Party City that carries every flavor of Pop Rocks ever invented!

Not candy but there was a bakery in Napoleonville,LA off hwy 1 that had the best gingerbread with pink icing. The old man died and took the recipe with him.
"Bunga" was his name. Great gingerbread!!! He was my grandmother's cousin and now both of them are gone. I have the recipe

Not really candy but push-ups. Do they still make those? Good memories.
