I’m calling bullshite on the entire “Houston man” story who didn’t report anything, after two girls , that happened to be in the same type and Color vehicle as his Uber, and were apparently high level hackers robbed him.

Nobody picked him up and cleaned out his brokerage and Coinbase accounts.

Crypto is another story but you can't sell stocks at 3am

And most crypto exchanges require mfa to withdraw money

Hmmmm - I’ve been behind plenty of ubers and thought to myself they should have that…. Because they didn’t have that… so I’m not sure how to reconcile this.

You know he’s referring to license plates, right?

Knocking off tourists only speeds up the downfall of Nola. We need the mob back. They used to police the crime against the tourists.

You messed with the tourists and they threw you off a roof.

This is true. Chicago mob gave up NOLA after Katrina (must’ve given up Chicago as well) - Russians run it now supposedly

It’s crap -

I question whether the hoodrats would even know where to begin with how to manipulate the brokerage accounts.

Zipped right by me. I assumed he meant a rideshare badge, similar to a taxi having a fleet number

I pulled up to a sushi restaurant for take out. I park and a couple jumps in the backseat. I’m like WTF and they say, “Your not our Uber?” Nope. That happens with the wrong person on the wrong night and shite could turn bad quick.

So these people are working with the actual Uber drivers right?

Unlocked phone and all passwords stored I’m guessing

This is dumb. I'm not saying he deserved to have his investments stolen, but this is exactly why you don't use FaceID/TouchID or even a password manager for your financial accounts. It's worth taking the time to memorize 2-3 passwords to never have to worry about someone taking your phone and being able to steal your money.

Don’t those apps have to verify banking info before transferring anything?

The guy was clearly f’d up and hopped into a car where two women were hollering for him to get into. Of course he’s going to tell the news that there’s an Uber scam going on. Don’t be a drunk tard and hop into a random car that’s waiting to rob you.
