Exxon / SABIC Joint Venture

According to the article above, an Exxon/SABIC joint venture are looking at building in Ascension/St. James if they can get the incentives worked out.

Any ideas what type of facility this could be, or the product they would produce? Could be a jobs shakeup for the surrounding plants depending on how many full-time operators needed.

All current Exxon employees' children will be working there.

This would be years from now considering the site hasn't even been determined yet

The article says "world class steam cracker and derivative units"

That would mean ethylene, propylene, butadiene, aromatics, acetylene, etc

Looks like the sites in the running include 2 sites near Donaldsonville on the West Bank, one in St. James, and two in Texas (one in Corpus Christie and the other between Corpus and Houston)

It would be a huge addition for generations. Wonder if Ryan Heck wants to see the financials?
