Good? Bad? Great place? Do they suck?
They are really close to where I work. The convenience would be nice.

I've used the location on Lee & had no problems. Prices are fair & service is great. They used to be Skid Marks (and changed their name for obvious reasons).

Tires are higher than costco. But service is often quick. They've patched a few tires for me and always did so quickly.

I've never been impressed with their prices but they're a fairly large company. Their service is timely and straight forward, not a pain in the arse at all

Thanks
I am not as worried about the prices as I am the good service and convenience. As long as the prices aren't ridiculous of course.

Ive use the one in Prairieville (the old check engine automotive). Good service, respectful, and fair prices.

They changed their name because they were bought out. Myles Holley sold the Skid Marks and his brother Devin sold the Treads and Care. I use Highland some and they are pretty good but the best overall is on Wooddale because Devin still runs it and those guys have been with him for years. I use him more than any but I have a fleet.
Myles is a partner in the Walk Ons Prairieville.

I didn't know this, I thought Miles still owned it. That's what I get for thinking.

My old man used to say that was working without tools.

dropped off my wife's car there for an inspection sticker. they failed her for a windshield crack near the visor line. replaced the windshield, and went in to get the final inspection sticker... woman you handled the transaction was rude as hell. There were 3 other people getting inspections at the same time and all three had failed, two for tires and they were then getting new tires there....
I have had bad luck with this shop on highland as well as the Goodyear store across the street.

Used them many times, great staff, very quick on the work.

I doubt that they are a properly registered engineering firm.

Well they aren't on loan from NASA that's for certain.
All of them (not just this Tire Engineering firm) try to up sell. Your air filter needs replacing, your transmission needs to be flushed, your brake fluid has expired. Just change the oil and let me out of this joint.
