It's a chemical thing. There is medication that can help your pits.

Though I hear that you start sweating more in other places if you clear up the pit sweat.

If you're sweatin, you must be nervous.

If you're nervous, you must be scared.

If you're scared, you must be weak.

man i had this problem in college and there was this deodorant the doctor prescribed to me this was like 12 years ago and it stopped the sweat but then i got a big knot under my armpit bc the sweat gland or something swelled up bc it shuts it off and i stopped using it. There definitely is a product ask your doc

This. I have the same issue and use Certain Dri. I get it from Publix. Certain Dri

The link will show you what the box looks like. Don't use it everyday, I develop a rash if I over use it. Just put some on before you go to bed and you are good to go.

You shouldn't bet what you can't afford to lose, even in the UK.

Use Arid XX Solid.

Even if your whole body is sweating, your pits won't be.

It performs like a Heat Shield does on Re-Entry.

Great that you got Clean and are taking charge of yourself.Good Luck and God Speed.

Suboxone is something that makes a lot of people sweat profusely.I'm not asking a question but just throwing information out there.

There's some prescription stuff you can get and also some wipes on Amazon that work pretty well. Can't remember the names tho. I outgrew it eventually

i had the same problem. Then a friend recommended I try using deodorant WITHOUT anti-perspirant.

May sound crazy but it worked.

I dealt with this a lot

surprisingly, what I found works best is using regular deodorant, not antiperspirant

I think the antiperspirant was blocking up my pores or something and actually causing me to sweat more

Not accurate. Won't go into detail, but that's not how that works.

DrySol, CertainDri, (various other name brands) roll on is one solution, as mentioned above - it is 20% Aluminum Chloride - as others have mentioned, there are now some mainstream anti-perspirant brands with this active ingredient that do not require an Rx.

If that doesn't work, or in addition to it, there is the drug Robinul - but it can have some bothersome side effects at normal doses that go along with its anticholinergic action.

If there is still and issue, then another option is axillary botox. 50 units injected in a grid pattern into each arm pit (using a very fine 30 ga. needle). It will completely stop axillary sweat production for 6 months or sometimes longer per treatment. Downside is that it can be expensive - though most commercial carriers will pay for it with prior approval provided patient has been tried on other methods - and most would describe it as somewhat uncomfortable.

If the problem is really pathologic, then there is also selective sympathectomy - surgery to interrupt the neural pathways that innervate the sweat glands in specific areas, depending on what part of the body the excessive sweating is affecting.

doctors can give you botox in specific areas of over active pits that kills your sweat glands and lessens the soakings.
