Ever Randomly Remember an Old, Insignificant Dream?

Because that’s pretty weird when that happens.

I occasionally remember a dream where I was being drowned by my father.

That doesn’t seem so... insignificant.

The only dreams I ever remember is when that shite actually happens.
Then I'm like, "holy shite, I had a dream about this."
I never dream about winning the lottery apparently. Always weird, insignificant shite like eating a bowl of cereal.

Sometimes I’ll have a dream and could have sworn that I had that dream before, but can’t quite put my finger on it.

I still remember a dream I had 35 years ago. I was smashing the frick out on a buddy of mines mom. She has on a yellow and green polka dotted bikini. My 9 year old arse was tearing up some pussy in that dream.

That’s just a tad disturbing.

I often have vivid dreams that i remember for about 60 seconds after waking up. By the time I'm finished with my morning piss I can't remember what exactly they were about

I was lying on my couch this evening when I randomly remembered a dream I had years ago. There was nothing special about it although probably memorable at the time. The dream had been forgotten over time but was obviously imprinted somewhere deep in my brain. It’s not the first time it’s happened and made me wonder if every single thing we’ve ever though is still buried somewhere in our brains like a vast, inaccessible archive.

Or that they even existed within 5 minutes

Compared to what I lived through in my childhood, not such a significant event.

I remember a dream that I had when my wife and I were living in the little house we bought when we were first married. I interpreted it to be a manifestation of the worries of being a young, first time homeowner.
In my dream, my neighbor's pet giraffe was reaching his neck over our fence, sticking his head through an open window and stealing our clean clothes out of a laundry basket.
He was stashing them on top of their patio cover but I could never find any up there when I would go look for them.
When I told him about it, my neighbor denied having a giraffe. I kept an eye on him after that.
