well I got like a 45 on it hand passed the class with a C, so I guess that rule doesnt apply at Southeast Community College

Paid a few bills doing this back in the day. Actually took traditional classes for some rich frickwad back in undergrad. They never checked IDs or anything, so he would enroll in various seminar classes, and I would take the courses for him. Kept that sumbitch with a 4.0, and he kept me stocked with Cuban Cohibas.
Later on, I had a ringer take a freshman course I was teaching at a prominent SEC school in Louisiana. Strangely enough, the student in my class was older and obviously well educated, but he had the same name as a fairly prominent student-athlete. I mentioned the ringer's identity as a possible issue to a fellow faculty member, and I was advised it was a good idea to refrain from further investigation.
FYI, this was circa 2000, so I'm pretty sure any statute of limitations has expired.
