What's your method to figuring out how many pizzas to order for a large group of people?

1 pizza for every 5 kids and 1 pizza per 3 adults?

I always seem to order too many.

Better to have too many than too few.

2 slices per kid and 3 for adult as an estimate.

Some eat more, some eat less. Unless all your friends are fatties, then everyone eats more.

I will have a large pie... Ham pineapple, and a order of cheesey bread.

I would also like... A large pie, ham pineapple....

Depends on the pizza. Obviously.

And the size of the eaters. If its me and 3 of my guy friends, it might be 3 larges. If its 4 adult women it might be 1 large.

I'm here for you buddy. Order the best value first. Mediums will do but if larges are cheaper get the larges.

Very important to do this part---
Get the pizzas "party cut"! If they don't understand that term say you want 10 slices(5 passes with the rocker) of a large 8 of medium.

Then you figure a large pepperoni pizza will feed 3.5 kids, 3 adults.

Medium pepperoni will feed 3 kids, 2 adults.

This is all based on hand tossed dough. Don't go thin. thin sucks.

I don't worry about it because pizza makes the best leftovers.

When I'm on a project I do 1 per two people for lunch. Some will eat less some will eat more.

Now THIS is quality OT insight. I never knew about this "party cut" of which you speak.

buy a bunch of larges and slice it up into 8 if you have a lot of big eaters or just 6 if it's more women and kids
