LINK

This is just one land of five lands at the new park that they released today and that looks amazing compared to the laziness of Disney.

Except for the weird cult like demographic of Disney adults, Universal is killing it these days. My kids cannot wait for the new park to open.

Park reports for Spring break this year have report Disney attendance is down and Universal attendance is up.

I like Dollywood, it's a fun place. But it's more like a Sea World style park and nowhere near Disney as far as offerings go.

I agree with you though, Universal is kicking the shite out of Disney. It's amazing how far they've come in the last 10 or so years.

In terms of overall park design that encompasses you in the theme, I agree that Disney is better. Dollywood rides are superior as a whole, although Disney's Star Wars ride is the best ride out there currently. I prefer fun rides to the absorbing theme, so Dolly to me is loads more fun.

Universal has been leading the charge of innovation. Disney has been copying their stuff for a while now (StarWars ride being the exception), and their stuff isn't as good. That velocicoaster at Uni is the GOAT coaster to date.

Universal is my favorite but Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot is my favorite ride out of everybody.

I never thought that anyone could beat Disney at theming, but Universal has really upped their game in recent years.

As a theme park enthusiast - I am not impressed at all with this new EPIC Universe. Sure, it is going to be gorgeous, beautiful, and have amazing and beautiful and cool QUE lines and bla bla bla but there won't be that many rides and there won't really be any decent thrill rides.

I go to a theme park to ride thrill rides, not to look at cool shite

I'll take a Six Flags with bad arse thrill rides all day long over an Orlando theme park that is pretty and looks cool.

Looks good. Want when there are 30,000 people in just that one section.

I’m all for bashing Disney, but you linked an animated rendition. Let’s wait and see what it actually looks after they complete construction.

There's some channels that are updating just about every few weeks. It looks as advertised. It's insane.
