Why do doctors and attorneys think so highly of themselves? They show up late to business appointments and think that having a few million is deserving of some special treatment moreso than others. They'll miss an appointment and barge in on the next one with a client that is respectful. Only people I have ever fired as clients are doctors and attorneys.

Do you really fire them as clients? Don’t think that’s the appropriate term, more like choose to no longer do business with.

I understand what you are saying and generally agree. It certainly has to do with IQ and income along with personality.

Millions? Do you mean cumulatively over a period of many years? Said money to cover massive business and personal overhead.

You don’t need to be a doctor or an attorney to have a few million. I got my millions the old fashioned way, by posting on the OT.

They have 7 figured vs many of my clients that have 8 figures. Yet that group is on time doesn't act like a baby and feel entitled. They respect my fees and aren't always trying to ask for a better deal. I don't get to haggle with those mofos. It is what it is. There is no leeway. You aren't getting a discount and I should bill you extra because you missed the appointment.

Usually doctors and attorneys keep very long hours and are dealing with time sensitive matters. Being right on time to meet with an accountant or cfp that is over charging doesn't always trump what else is going on.

Granted this particular one was a boomer so that prolly explains a little bit of it.

They really do get angry when you tell them to take their business elsewhere.

Firing clients isn't the "appropriate term" but I'm not telling them your fired like the CIC. That is talk ongst colleagues

It absolutely does. I have shite to do and a life too. Their life isn't any more important than mine and that doesn't give them any right to belittle you.

They work on a schedule just like I do... Maybe they should get better planning or hire someone to better manage their time and appointments.

Bro, calm down. Its just landscaping - sorry i wasn't home in time to let you in the backyard. Get to cleaning up the yard and pulling weeds - i don;t like seeing that clover all over the backyard.

No, they don't.

Maybe you aren't offering a service that fits their needs.

Sounds like you need them way more than they need you.

Unless you work in some high specialty or some shite. Doctors, by and large have become working schmucks.

Sure the money is still good but nobody treats those frickers special anymore and haven't in a long time.
