I have the opportunity for either floor seats at $220 a piece with tickets to the ball or whatever it is on Jan. 9th thrown in, or Loge tickets for $235 a piece. I know the Loge tickets include alcohol, and the floor seats don't, but that's not that a big of a deal. I need suggestions on which is the better experience. Once the parade starts can I walk down from Loge level to the floor, or do you have to stay there until the concert?

Get the loge that includes the alcohol. You get great seats to watch the parade ( eye level of the top row) and have easy access to bathroom. You can go down to floor level after the parade but not during the parade

Did they recently change this? I had Loge tickets with the alcohol and buffet a couple years ago and we were able to get down to the floor for the parade.

You can go before the parade starts but once it starts you have to stay on whichever side of the barricade you are on.

How many will be in your party? The floor is the place to be. You can mingle or hang out at your table. It's just a much better time.

You must stay on the loge level until the last float rolls out of the dome. And it's the coronation on Jan. 9th which is a pretty fun night.
