Construction has already begun!

New water cooled pad construction going on!

Looks like the boss really meant 2-3 months.

He really gives zero fricks about money. For him it’s a passion and I really admire it.

In private business, time is money. No dicking around like a government operation.

Pretty sure he’s launched without approval before

Who is an Elon hater?

I was just pointing out the fact that the FAA has suspended his launch license.

That's not an opinion of the man or his operation. It's a fact.

They move pretty quick.

I bet they aren’t jerking around with bids and contracts either.

Probably a bunch of unit price work and cost plus activity so they don’t have to haggle about prices.

If you spend your energy executing work it’s amazing how fast things can happen.

After a comprehensive license evaluation process, the FAA determined SpaceX met all safety environment, policy, payload, airspace integration and financial responsibility requirements,” the FAA says in a statement. “The license is valid for five years.”

I mentioned in another thread, this is basic protocol for FAA after an unplanned happening.

They do this as more of a formality, especially since there was debris that left the intended zone. It is not a bad thing, just a verification of what steps SpaceX is doing to prevent it.

They will not launch for months, need metal plate/water deluge installed. At that time the FAA will be happy. I suspect you will see whichever booster they have ready next do many static fires on the new pad. Last static fire was only half power, I think they will do it closer to launch throttle to verify pad.

They are not prevented from work and static fires. Just release of the rocket.

I feel like if elon gave a shite about us he’d launch these “rockets” at Israel instead of wasting money trying to go to space
