Anybody ever heard of this? Long story short, parent runs the kid to the potty the instant the kid starts to grunt or otherwise indicate he/she is about to go. Seems like the parent is getting trained instead of the kid.

Don’t sweat it. You ever seen a 10 year old in diapers? Eventually peer pressure will get to them.

I don’t know about this method, but letting my son pee off the porch to the dismay of his mother and the other women around seemed to work. He now goes in the toilet, but makes a point to laugh and say he left the seat up.

Our Pediatrician said you can start training your kid as early as 1.5yrs but it would probably be a pain for everyone or you can just wait until around 3 and the kid just figures it out by himself/herself. We did the later and low and behold Ped was right.

What if your kid doesn't grunt?

How much fiber you giving them?

Well yeah. Potty training is getting the kid used to shitting/pissing in the toilet. So put them on it when you think they have to.

When you see a puppy sniffing and squat spinning, do you ignore it?

I know a 3.5 year old who acts like the toilet is made of fire. He is literally afraid of it.

No one knows of any accident/injury associated with the toilet, so it’s pretty odd. Maybe they can train him to shite in the yard like a dog.

Daughter was 3 when she finally quit being afraid of the toilet. Son was just under 2. Just tell them you have to feed the fish by putting pee & poo in the toilet. It works.

That’s horseshite. Those parents need to let the kid clean himself and his clothes when he shits himself. He’ll get tired of it quick.

Mine were trained before 1.5 years old. People now are raising their kids when it's convenience for them. Dam shame.

My oldest son didnt click for him till he was 3. Right about that age most kids figure out that they prefer a dry grundle vs sitting in their filth
