Since Saturday was the coldest day of this cold spell for most of you guys, what was your usage?

So Saturday, I used 259 kWH to heat my home for 35 dollars in costs.

The only ones enjoying this cold spell will be the executives at Entergy and shareholders of Entergy stock.

Yes…and when I get the chance the first thing done will be to swap to a gas heater or heat pump. Then replace gas appliances and water heaters.

$6 Friday and $5 Saturday, and that’s with having my interior attic door open to heat the attic. Bless reversible heat pump HVAC systems.

Wood stove to heat the house if you’re that worried about it.

Rookie numbers. Try using heating oil. Probably spend a couple of hundred bucks heating my house yesterday.

Been running the pool pumps constantly so that’s probably most of it.

Just checked my solar out in West Texas and it’s been cranking out the power. That export will more than offset the extra power cost here in Houston.

2 - 50 gal gas water heaters
1 - gas dryer
1 - 6 burner gas stove
1 - gas furnace as part of my a/c

LED lights throughout the house.

I would expect my gas bill to be 2-3 times higher but electrical to be much lower.

My electricity is $0.10167 per kWh, too bad for you.
