I have a fan in my bedroom that has 4 lights hanging from the motor. Two of the lights that are across from each other will not turn but the other two will. Any suggestions? And yes, I changed the bulbs. Thanks.

Unplug it and plug it back in

You've got to push the little toggle that goes up and down. Push it up. That'll do the trick usually.

Fans with 4 lights in the past used to have a pull chain with off/4 lights/2 lights. Did you pull the chain if it has one?

If you pull the string for the lights, can you alternate between two before they turn off completely?

I have a fan like that that has a pull string, 1 pull is all 4 lights, 1 is 2 of them, 1 is the other 2, and the last pull is off.

If that's not the issue, new fan time would be my guess.

Check the bulbs. Unscrew one and lick the end to test it's charge.

Found this online, hope it helps

Use clean kerosene and wipe up spillage. Put the burner with wick in thelamp and allow the wick to soak for ten minutes, preferably more. Turn the wick down so that it is just proud of the burner sleeve. Be sure the chimney or flue is clean and dry.

Pull the chain again. Sometimes fan lights will only come on one pair of the time and unless you pull the chain to make all four come on
