Bayou Manchac has been corrupted by man and what use to be a significant artery between the Miss River and Lake Ponchatrain has been lost.

It wasn’t all done by man. It started with the levee.

Yes, a levee just popped up out of nowhere. Nothing to do with man.

Now there is a legal basis for Iberville. I don’t see one for EBR. If you’d like an explanation from an attorney you can call one up.

you are an idiot.

Given the current development practices being employed by East Baton Rouge Parish developers of dig, backfill and building retention ponds raising developments above grade justifies anything Mitchell Ourso can do to stop EBR from flooding East Iberville. You just can't elevate developments in flood plains without causing severe consequences
idk who wrote that but engineering wise, this guy doesn't know what the frick he is talking about.

Are you saying Iberville can't legally do it?

Is there any laws preventing Iberville from doing it?

I'm not saying that at all. A federal judge is saying that.

I mean I really don't know how much further it needs to be dumbed down for you.

Friday night, a federal judge signed an order to temporarily restrain Iberville from using the aquadams.

Yes I do, but the River didn’t cut off Manchac, man did.

Nothing wrong with that, it’s just the crap that happened later that messed things up in the Bayou.
