Eating a meal with someone who has poor table manners

How to get through those meals? Talking with food in mouth, belching softly at end of meal. Disgusting.

those things are gross
most manners are just kind of stupid though. pre programmed behavior to give the appearance of thoughtfulness so as to not have to be thoughtful
most of that is 19th century bullshite. (except for the obvious...smacking, licking fingers, burping, etc.)

I can handle almost any bad manners at the table, except smacking. I hate smacking with a passion.

Well if I'm friends with then I will call them out immediately. If not I will suck it up and try to avoid future meals with that person.
I've found ppl that have extreme bad manners transitions to how they act on a daily basis and probably wouldn't be friends with them.
If business meal or customer I just block it out

My old roommate couldn't eat a peanut without fricking smacking. Used to call him out on it constantly.

I wouldn't sit through a meal with someone like that without asking them what is wrong with them
