knight_ryder, are you posting this saying that the cops were wrong in killing this guy? If you pull anything on police that looks like a weapon, you might get killed. I see nothing wrong with their actions. The only thing I see that they might have done different was when the subject did not

The female cop pulled her taser first before finally getting her gun out and firing those late shots. Remember the old deputy who pulled his gun instead of his taser? It can be hard for your reflexes to decide which weapon you should be grabbing in the heat of the moment. Glad she didn't die for that mistake.

Exactly! Titles like these are the precise reason why body cameras should be worn. It's a good thing there is actual footage of this shooting. He wasn't killed "over a BB gun", he was killed because he pulled out something that looked exactly like a firearm. I've watched both videos a handful of times, and there is no way to know what type of gun that was. frick the OP.

Nope. Actually siding with the cops this time. Even if the gun was fake why would that be an appropriate time to pull it out. It's obvious he had some intention.

I do not fault the cops at all on this one. The female cop could have handled it better, but the guy was completely professional, and even moved a knife to the other side of the table. His spidey sense must have been tingling.
