I'm confused by the intersection. Is it only right turn allowed? Or is if if you make a turn it's only right, straight still being okay?
And on that note, it's absolutely foolish you can't go straight. I understand the left turn issue.

Why is turning left any different than going straight. Both require clearance from both directions.

No going straight. Hence the right turn ONLY signs. Not that complicated. It sucks, but it sucks even more to have dumb people ignore the rules.

they're having a ton of accidents because drivers keep making the maneuvers they used to be allowed to do. the accidents are not because of the new intersection; they'd be having them anyway. so since it was partly done to make a safer intersection, there's no way in hell they're going back to the old way.
