Druid City Brewing Company went and did it again on their chalkboard art, dipping into the greater SEC during the college football offseason.

University of Alabama student and artist Ryan Watson's latest masterpiece "The Bayou Thriller" features LSU football coach Les Miles posing in an all-white suit and cuddling a tiger cub like Michael Jackson on the cover of the album "Thriller."

Behind "The Bayou Thriller"
Druid City Brewing Company co-owner Bo Hicks explains the inspiration behind artist Ryan Watson's latest chalkboard drawing "The Bayou Thriller" hanging in the Tuscaloosa brewery, featuring LSU football coach Les Miles posing like Michael Jackson on the cover of the album "Thriller." (Ben Flanagan/AL.com)
"This one was all Bo Hicks' idea," Watson said about the brewery's co-owner and chalkboard idea-generator. "I'm just the one that brought it to life. I think it's meant to be satirical, while honoring a great SEC coach."
Hicks credits Watson with a unique knack for visualizing his and his colleagues' silly ideas.

As they've done with Nick Saban, Paul "Bear" Bryant, Lane Kiffin, Avery Johnson and even Paul Finebaum, the brewery had a little good-natured fun with the always-entertaining and slightly eccentric LSU coach for the latest work.

"Les Miles is one of our favorites," Hick said. "He's just so left of center. I think he makes college football way more interesting. We thought this would be a fun thing to play on his super 'Les Miles-ness.'"

Hicks' favorite parts of the drawing? The corn-dog in Miles' hand (poking fun at an LSU fan stereotype) and the sprig of grass Miles chews (referencing the time Miles actually chewed grass in Tiger Stadium during a game against Alabama).

See the drawing yourself at Druid City Brewing Company, located at Parkview Center in Tuscaloosa at 607 14th Street.

Minus the corn dog and brewery emblem on the shirt, I could see Les having that above his fireplace.

Still don't get the "corn dog stereotype" thing. Wish we did have more corn dogs around here because they're delicious. But .....

Yep, it's not bad. Ragoo or one of the Evil Twins would pay good money for something like that.
