I can't float either. Ive tried every technique, but I still sink in a couple of seconds.

I'm up to 56 minutes. Y'all are really missing out, it gets really good around the 15 minute mark.

I could stay alive in water for a day or two easily. You don't spend your entire time treading water. You mix it up when you start to get tired...flip to your back and deep breathe, flip to your front and lightly tread, repeat.

Treading water to stay afloat takes very little energy, especially if you flatten your body to get as horizontal as possible with the surface.
