At 9 a.m., prison staff noticed an unmanned areal vehicle lying upside down on the prison grounds, according to a news release. Corrections officers determined the drone crashed after making contact with the razor wire lining the prison walls.

The package carried by the drone had been suspended by a fishing line. It contained a laundry list of banned items, including hacksaw blades, a cellphone, cigarettes and cigars, super glue, marijuana, methamphetamine and heroin.
