We decided to head to 3rd St tonight for the first time in a while. Looks like the market might well be saturated. The Office looks to be done for (I'm shocked, because when your business fails the first time your best decision is usually to open that exact same business in the exact same location a few years later when there's more competition). The 1913/City Bar/Huey's cluster appears to be holding up the clubby frat crew with the older folks spread out between trying to look important at the clubs and tying one on at B&T's, Draft House, or Happy's. Hipsters, after losing ground in the Battle of Red Star appear to be retreating to Hound Dogs or Mid City, as there appears to be a distinct lack of irony and beards down here. For every black person that is in a drinking establishment down here there are 5 driving laps down 3rd St. and up Lafayette St. Must be a cultural thing.

I like how you start off with "We" to make it look like you have friends.

Go pick a fight with Mark Hinson and his buddies. Hit the one with the busted up knuckles first.

Ironically I have never witnessed a fight break out in downtown BR. In my experience everyone has been laid back and just having a good time.

Well I do like downtown for the fact that anyone with baggy pants, joggers, camo pants, or dressed like a POS can't get in most places.

Same, expect for city bar. But that's been my experience for most any bar that doesn't allow kids under 21 in there

Used to work down there; they happen, but not near as frequent as tigerland.
