He spoke at my old ladies graduation at LSU. It was pretty heavy on the I am black and gay so LSU treated me like shite. Sort of awkward

The Brown lawyer admitted that he'd had some troubles in school but wouldn't say what they were. "Just kid stuff." That could mean anything coming from this crowd.

And that is my point. Where did he live? Where did he go to school? Who raised him? This "gentle giant" is a blank slate that all kinds of images are being projected on. But we have no even remotely coherent picture of who he was.

And I find that very interesting.

I think it's pretty obvious. The more people know about him, the less sympathetic they would be. Just keep showing the pic of him when he was 15 at Chuckie Cheese and let his lying family and friends spout bullshite. The convenience store camera tells a different tale.

But it was his useless observation that he smelled drugs in the air that polarized critics. "Maybe a minute, two minutes ago we heard a gunshot and watched people scattering," Lemon said. "And we're watching people on the roofs of cars, on the tops of cars and, er,… Obviously there's a smell of marijuana here as well."

I don't see why this is a big deal, obviously it would smell like weed there.

Knew he's from BR; had no idea he's gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) or that he'd been sexually abused as a child. And he's talked about both on air? ... Don't know how I missed that because normally I watch CNN, mainly out of habit, when I watch the "news." ... He fluctuated a lot during the Ferguson coverage between the 2 sides, which pissed me off more than anything. If a reporter/anchor can't stay objective as he should, he needs to at least pick a damn side & stick to it. The ones who flip flop & sway any way the wind blows lose credibility with me.

Had to listen to him at diploma ceremony at LSU in May 2013. Talked about discrimination at LSU, being black, and being gay. Awesomely bad commencement speaker.
