Saw a real DUMBARSE with a yellow lab in back of pickup on 1-10 between BR and Gonzales. Very dangerous for everyone on road. Dog was loose going side to side. Hope somebody beats his arse one day.

You have to be lying because real dumbasses have pitbulls. Not labs.

Man, you must not have much to worry about if a dog in the back of a truck has you pissed.

shite, we used to ride around in the back of the truck when we were kids.

Lighten up Francis. No one needs you to wring your purse over something that’s been happening since...well since trucks

Did he have his flashers on? Hit him with your purse.

It's dangerous. Dog could get thrown from the truck, causing a driver behind the dumbass to instinctively swerve or hit the brakes, which in turn can cause a serious wreck.

I saw a dog with front paws on top of cab and back paws on tool box yesterday. Truck going 55 mph...... What happens when driver has to brake suddenly? The dog will go over the top and probably die. I think it's a legit concern. Why "DOG" that OP for his question? I did think it was unsafe for his dog which I assume he really likes/loves.

Some people train they're dogs not to be dumbasses and jump out of moving vehicles.
I've always trained my dog to ride in the back of 4 wheelers, boats, and vehicles unrestrained. I have never had a problem with one jumping out parked car much less one traveling at 75mph.
Well one that lived anyway.

I let two of my dogs ride in the bed of the truck occasionally. They are leashed while in the truck.

The other two ride in the cab with me.

Dogs love riding on the back of trucks.

You take care of your shite, let other people take care of theirs.

Fricking busybody world. I swear to god.

I thought the la legis made it law where you have to have dog in a crate. Which is ridiculous. Mid a dog is dumb enough to jump out, well that's good for the gene pool.

His rear wheel could come off. His truck nuts could come loose and bounce up into the car behind. A ladder could fall off an electrician's truck.

Fear of shite that is a small and insignificant danger has made this an obnoxious society.

I pulled up in front of Newk's in Shreveport one night with my dogs. It was hot, so I left the car running. Border Collie got in the driver's seat, Aussie got in the passenger's seat. When I came out, a bunch of people were cracking up because it looked like the dogs had driven up to the front.
