I'm sure the complex political issues and long line of visiting dignitaries facing Cormorant, Minnesota make this a job that only a seasoned politician can handle.

So an animal can do a better job than a political human at their job?

My dad lives in a small unincorporated town in Missouri. Every year they have an "election" for the mayor. Any resident "campaigns" their pets at a pie supper then everyone votes.

A year or two ago, it was a rooster.
