This has got to be one of the worst smells ever.

I have a relative that uses them and I couldn't take being in that area of the house.

Can they not smell that? We have to outlaw those little toxic things.

and that's what grinds my gears

My grandparents uses them a lot.

When I was moving into my house, they came over and helped clean and they put them all over the house..........

Took forever to get that smell out.

Is it moth balls you're supposed to put out if you have a snake problem?

Yes I did, but the moth eventually wanted me to commit to a serious relationship.

I use them in cushions on outside furniture to keep critters away, like lizards.

Dude about 60 showed up in a suit recently that reeked of mothballs. I can't believe he was not aware of the smell that filled the room.

Those are weevils. Throw all the flour, grits, and milled stuff (corn flour, etc.) away.

I bought an old airstream as a hunting camper that used to be kept in a swampy area. I guess the guy before me kept moth balls in it to keep snakes away, and I've had it for 6 years and it still reeks of moth balls

They are the first line of defense for getting rid of varmints in the attic, second line works better but can be illegal in some cases.
