Does anyone know of a free app to date and time stamp a photo?

I found a couple of apps that say they are free but then make you upgrade to a paid version to actually get it to time stamp. TIA

All digital cameras time stamp photos in the meta data of the file. It's called the exif data. Does the timestamp have to be on the actual picture?

That's the one i downloaded that says you have to upgrade

This. If for insurance purposes, I would think the exif data would suffice.

I believe it does. That's what the FEMA lady said on the radio yesterday anyway.

I don't remember being told this after downloading and I did take a picture with it and the stamp was there.

What phone do you have? They usually time stamp pictures

Photo Time Stamp is a free app that does it

LINK

Download it. Take a picture with the in-app camera. Once you take the photo, go to your photos on your phone and you will see the photo with a date stamp in the bottom right corner.

You can add the time to it as well if you select it in the app settings.
