I spend a hundred or so nights in hotel rooms and actually find that I miss them when I am home. as a result, I am considering making my bedrooms seem more like hotel rooms.
am I the only one that feels this way?...

I love a hotel. My wife and I will get a room 10 minutes from the house and drop the kids at my parents.
I don't miss traveling for work though.

Yes and no.
Living out of a hotel room for 3 weeks gets really fricking old.

Do you have a wife that can put little hersheys kisses on the pillows and fold the towels into animals when you're out for the day?

Love a nice hotel room. I can relax so much for some reason.

I always stay up too late in hotel rooms for some reason. Can't sleep for shite.

I already do this.
I keep it clutter free, and put fresh towels on the rack every day.
And hand towels.

AGree.
I like to tuck my sheets in super tight, along with a blanket.

I am actually trying to figure this out...I get kinda philosophical when I am drunk...
one thing that I do like is the air conditioner that makes noise and will cool the hell out of the place if I want it to...

I love hotel rooms. When I go on vacation I love if there is a day where I can just stay in the room and watch TV all day and only leave to walk to the vending machines. I make the room as cold as I can, too.

No. I spent 7 years on the road. 250 nights a year in a hotel was the most in 1 of those years. Sometimes I would stay in same room for up to a month or two. A room service burger and fries on a plate with cover placed on top of the lamp with a towel over it. Will be warm and tasty when the lounge closes at 1:00 AM

good point...I like that "crisp" feeling that you get at a hotel...can't really get that at home, for some reason.
also, as I said earlier, I like it pretty cold and like to sleep under a blanket.

Love hotel rooms.
Casino rooms have always been my Achilles heel.

Me too. And I take a shower and get room service, and pretend like I live there, like Kevin Mc Callister in Home Alone II.
Then I fall asleep with the thermostat set at 60°.

Figure a 10 year old hotel = a 10 year old mattress. 365 days per year, or 3650 nights. Probably about 3,000 of them slept on by about 80% different people.
2,400 people slept where you did. How many died? Had AIDS? Hep. C? Hmmm ..... keeps me up at night.

that would be a little much for my taste...I like to hit a different hotel every couple of days...
you actually left a burger and fries on top of a lamp?...

Nah.
Most hotels have been remodeled/refurnished in the last 5-10 years.
