Especially when storms are around. Look at all the redirected traffic. I could watch these all day long.

Find out where an air show is and then watch it. It’s cool to see how they line up the planes and then bring them for flybys.

It’s cool. I’m just a loser that will never be a pilot but at least I can be an aviation enthusiast.

I do. I'll pull my phone out if I see a plane overhead and check where it came from and where it's going.

My wife calls it "plane autism"

Love flightware used to use it all of the time when I was traveling for work. Will occasionally track flights that fly over my land.

When I lived in shreveport there was an airbus a380 that flew over just about everyday. It was still so damn big even at 38000 ft

Flightradar24 is another good one. Even better in some ways.

had a flyover at a reunion I was at a few weeks ago, while they were lining up the B-1 guys asked for an unrestricted climb over the ceremony, controller said I'll see, then the F-35s and F-15s said "if they get it we want it," controller then became dad, "cut the chatter, nobody's getting nothin'!"

I pull out the FlightRadar24 app every time I hear a plane. Then I like looking at the crazy long routes and planes at the top of the world.

I do the same. She thinks it’s cool, too.
Heard some type of jet going over but I could not see it but it’s sound stuck out. It was totally different sounding.

The app said it was a b52.

not that I'm aware of but you can buy a cheap Vhf radio scanner and listen to some of the local transmissions in your area
