Does anyone actually use whatsapp?

I believe this is the new FB messenger. They bought it out. It's pretty cool app, I listened to a podcast on it about how it's impossible to hack.

I use it to talk to people back home who do not have iMessage and I can't text them for free. I never use it once I'm home on breaks.

Mostly foreigners who have family outside the country. They all use it.

I used it to text my friend that was a German exchange student in HS

I used it abroad. Much better than texting. I got dumped over whatsapp though so i haven't used it since.

It is how i keep in touch with literally everybody back in honduras

It's really not an American app, but it is HUGE overseas.

We use it for our kids sports teams between parents and coaches. It comes in handy for large group text.
